Woman Pleads Guilty To Defrauding Over $300,000 From Coast Charity
Blames Asian Mafia
A North Gosford bookkeeper has pleaded guilty at Gosford Court today, to defrauding Autism Central Coast out of nearly $330,000.
Court Documents state the 22-year-old woman claims she needed the money because Asian Mafia turned up to her partners house and threatened to kill her 6-month-old baby.
An audit in January discovered Marissa Esposito was pocketing funds from staff super, insurance and other payments, into her personal bank accounts.
She'll be sentenced in May.
