Break ups can get messy. Emotions are high and the practicalities of moving out of a place you may have lived in for years can be distressing.

Break ups are also when we tend to see the worst in people. By worst we mean petty.

A woman in the US has been left dumbfounded after her plumber boyfriend stole her toilet following their breakup.

She said online, she decided to end things with her boyfriend because he doesn’t ‘pay his way’ and ‘refuses to tip service staff’ both traits she doesn’t want in a long term partner.
