Wamberal Lagoon has finally re-opened for public recreation, following a sewer main break near Foresters Creek last month.

Ongoing quality monitoring has indicated that water quality within the Lagoon remains unaffected.

The site will continue to be monitored as part of Central Coast Council’s Beach watch program with general precautions to avoid swimming for up to three days after rain remain in place for this site and all similar sites and beaches.
