Viral Ageing App Has Some Seriously Disturbing Terms And Conditions

This week, you might’ve seen an abundance of aged photos of friends and even celebrities go viral, or you might have even posted one yourself.

While it appears to be hilarious that the Jonas Brothers finally took a trip to the year 3000, it seems that the repercussions of using this app could have some serious security concerns. 

In one densely-worded section in the company's terms and conditions of use, the FaceApp business informs users that they, "Grant FaceApp a perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, fully-paid, transferable sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform and display your User Content and any name, username or likeness provided in connection with your User Content in all media formats and channels now known or later developed, without compensation to you."

In shorter words, FaceApp can pretty much do whatever it wants with your selfie.

This is some serious Black Mirror sh*t people!

Be safe with your data and don’t get sucked into the hype before checking the terms and conditions of use, otherwise, you could be literally signing your face, name and whatever you have left away for a gimmick.
