Go to the races for the Gold Coast Cup

This Saturday May 4th, you can get your best trackside look together and head to the Gold Coast's favourite racing carnival event, the Heineken Gold Coast Cup! Held at Aquis Park, this is one of the feature events launching Queensland's Winter Racing Carnival. There is also increased prize money to over $1.4 million!

There are a range of dining packages on offer, or, you can get up-close-and-personal with a General Admission pass.

Get your foodie fix at Gather & Feast

The Gold Coast’s newest night market is set to serve up a feast! On Friday, May 3rd from 4pm-9pm, you'll be able to sink your teeth into a delicious world of food (including 20+ food trucks!) and sweet treats, as well as enjoy handmade, designer & vintage stalls! But that's not all, there will be live music on stage and a pop-up bar to kick off your long weekend! There will also be a FREE jumping castle for  the kids and the Currumbin Valley Fire Brigade will be on display. Don't forget to bring a picnic blanket and settle in for a fabulous night of amazing food! 

You'll find the market at the Carrara Sports & Leisure Centre, located Metricon Stadium.

Head to Surfers Paradise LIVE for some live and free music!

From Thursday May 2nd-5th, Surfers Paradise LIVE will be lighting up the Gold Coast! This year, the four day music festival will be providing the goods with entertainment from musical legends like Thirsty Merc, The Living End and a heap of talented supporting acts. 

The festival will be bringing together over 400 Australian musicians and enthusiasts to celebrate the Australian music industry. 

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo in Burleigh at Wahoo’s

If you're a fan of all things Mexican, cheap margaritas & tequila, then Cinco De Mayo is the perfect excuse for you to embrace all of it! Wahoo's restaurant is set to be transformed into a bar for May 5th, with cheap drinks, food and live music for you to enjoy. 

Limited tickets are available and very limited entries without tickets will be taken on the night. All ticket purchases secure your entry on the night and include a margarita and taco on arrival.

Have a Sunday Session at Nobby’s Beach Surf Club

Head to Nobby's Beach Surf Club this Sunday, May 5 between 2pm-5pm for Nobby's Sundayz Sessions! This is its 6th event and it couldn't come at a better time: a long weekend! Headlining is 'MADISON KAT' supported by 'JACKSON JAMES SMITH'

There will be food trucks, icy cold craft beers and a mechanical surfboard. Is there anywhere else you'd rather be? For members and guests, a gold coin donation entry or $2 membership is required at the door.

This Saturday May 4 will see the next generation of Rugby Union starts compete at the Under 20's Oceania Championships! Bond University Rugby will again be hosting the 2019 Oceania Rugby U20's Championships with the following games:
