This Is How We Can Remove The Barrier For Disability Unemployment

This morning on the show, Tim & Jess chatted to the star of The Dylan Alcott Foundation's latest campaign, Oliver Hunter. The campaign highlights disabled unemployment and the need for change.

The campaign is called Remove the Barrier - addressing the problem and invisible barrier that only 54 per cent of people with disability have employment, with little to no initiatives in place to change this.

The barrier is one people living with a disability can't get past - getting a job.

Oliver uses a wheelchair and has personally encountered unconscious bias, lack of opportunities and accessibility issues in his hunt for fulfilling work.
