South Burnett Council Preps for Introduction of New Waste Levy
Effective from July
South Burnett Regional Council is prepping for the introduction of a new Waste Levy.
Business in Wondai and Murgon have been informed of the new initiative after they were visited by Council staff.
From July, disposal of waste will cost $75.00 per tonne with the South Burnett to have supervised waste sites.
The council will post out a general Waste Levy information flyer will be posted out to businesses in Kingaroy and Nanango by the end of April.
The levy was passed by the State Government last month.
