A recall has been issued for a certain range of eggs with fears of salmonella contamination.

The NSW Food Authority announced they've pulled brand Steve's Fresh Farm Eggs' Fresh Eggs From My Farm from shelves with concerns of potential microbial contamination.

The affected eggs are from the brand's free-range dozen and caged with expiry dates up to May 6.

Symptoms of Salmonellosis include fever, headache, severe diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting.
