A 33-year-old man has been charged after approximately 8kg of Methylamphetamine was seized from a vehicle in the Kalgoorlie area on Saturday 30 March 2019.

About 10:40am a Holden Captiva was stopped by Kalgoorlie Detectives and Kalgoorlie Police. The vehicle was searched and it will be alleged eight packages of what is believed to be Methylamphetamine were located, each weighing approximately 1kg.

A 33-year-old man from South Australia has been charged with ‘Possessed a Trafficable Amount of Methylamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Supply it to Another’.

He was refused bail and appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court via video link on Sunday 31 March 2019, where he was remanded in custody to appear in the Kalgoorlie Magistrate Court today, Friday 5 April 2019.
