The Goomeri Pumpkin Festival is a must on your social calendar, a weekend dedicated to all things - pumpkin!
Organisers are hoping the 23rd year of the festival will bring crowds of 17,000 pumpkin-goers, which will beat last year's record attendance.
WHAT: GOOMERI PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
WHEN: FRIDAY MAY 24 - SUNDAY MAY 26
WHERE: BURNETT HIGHWAY, GOOMERI
You can camp on site, decorate pumpkins, dress up like pumpkins, and of course take part in the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll from the top of Policeman’s Hill.
Coordinator KIM BOYTER explained how the pumpkin roll works:
No matter what you choose to do at the festival, the program is jam packed with all things pumpkin – it’s not just for roasting or mashing!
So go and get your pumpkin on – if it’s about a pumpkin it’s all going to be done this weekend at the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival.
