Investigations continue into helicopter crash off Anna Bay

Authorities have made a desperate plea for witnesses to Friday night's helicopter crash off the coast of Port Stephens.

Five people died when the chopper plunged into the water near Anna Bay.

So far the bodies and the wreckage are yet to be recovered.

Nat Nagy from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau says a major investigation is underway into what went wrong.
