Goldfields Op Shop Renamed in Tribute
Monica Kagoro died suddenly in February
The Goldfields Women’s Refuge have renamed their op shop 'Monica’s Place' in tribute to long-term staff member Monica Kagoro, who died suddenly in February of a heart attack.
Monica Kagoro dedicated more than 10 years of her life to working at the refuge, helping local families and children escape domestic violence relationships and helping them move forward in troubled times.
Her name and passion for her work will now live on after the refuge op shop was renamed in her honour last week.
