Kalgoorlie-Boulder is preparing for a week of glitz and glamour as Kalgoorlie Fashion Week nears for 2019.

The fashion event is now in its fourth year and the recently renovated historic Boulder Town Hall will play host to a number of key events, showcasing both local and non-local designers and models on the Goldfields stage.

Event founder Yasmin Walter brought Kalgoorlie Fashion Week to the region after realising there were no fashion-related events on the calendar, and said the reception kept getting better and better and the event keeps growing each year.

Following an increase in interest from indigenous designers, for the first time there would be a separate Indigenous Fashion Show, dubbed the Land of Labels on August 1st.

Local indigenous artist Jason Dimer will also be presenting an art and fashion exhibition.

Kalgoorlie Fashion Week will kick off in style on July 28 with a free Block Party event being held at the Lord Forrest precinct between 11AM and 2PM.
