Everything You Missed From The Margaret River Pro & The Drop Festival 2019

Can you believe that the Margaret Rive Pro is done and dusted for 2019?! 

After 6 huge days of surfing the competition came to an end on Tuesday 4th June with John John Florence a second time Margaret Rive Pro winner and Lakey Peterson makes a statement and takes her first event win of 2019.

This year also saw the return of the highly anticipated The Drop Festival in conjunction with the World Surf League and The Margaret River Pro!

The festival kicked off at Barnard Park in Busso bringing in a crowd of thousands from around WA and overseas to celebrate good music, surfing, culture and community! 

The arvo kicked off with local Margaret River legends Askya!

Followed by Alex the Astronaut who stole the show! 

Client Liaison hit the stage shortly after and literally gave everyone LIFE under the big top tent! 

As the afternoon turned to night Hockey Dad hit the stage giving us those festival feels!

Just after 7pm the crowd inside the tent grew as people rushed to catch The Jungle Giants who TURNED IT UP for Busso!

The moment we were waiting for Angus and Julia Stone finally hit the stage and it was MAGICAL! Literally blew the roof of the big top tent to close the night! 

It is safe to say that The Drop Festival did NOT disappoint! All we can say is that we CANNOT wait for 2020 because it was electric!
