Eltham School In Lockdown After Man Was Spotted Armed With A Chainsaw
Police are currently negotiating.

St Helena’s Secondary School in Eltham North was sent into lockdown this afternoon after a man armed with a chainsaw was spotted.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after 1pm and have since located the man at a house close to the school where students have been asked to stay inside.
Police are currently trying to negotiate with the man and believe he is no longer armed with the chainsaw.
