Elizabeth Banks’ Terrifying Tales Of Brightburn

The Scariest Film Of The Year

Live From LA  sat down with the cast and producer of Brightburn – a spine-tingling, nail-biting new film from a terrifying new genre: Superhero Horror.

The premise of the story is extremely original - What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? It’s Superman, but evil. Very evil.

The film starts off almost beautiful. Madly in-love Tori (Elizabeth Banks) and Kyle (David Denman) long for a baby and their dream comes true when they find Brandon (Jackson A. Dunn) alone at night on their property, after seemingly crash landing on Earth.

Things go from a 2 to a 10 real quick, when Brandon realizes he’s not like other kids in his class. We won’t spoil the plot, because the traumatic turn of events needs to be seen to be believed.

We sat down with the star of the film Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, Hunger Games), to find out how the horror unfolds, and what made her want to take on such a different and challenging role – a far stretch from her comedic brilliance in Pitch Perfect, and her iconic Effie Trinket from Hunger Games.

While the trailer and talk of Brightburn is scary at best, the true XXX can only be experienced form seeing the film.

Our advice? Don’t see it alone, you’ll need moral support to survive this one.
