An Irish woman living in Australia for a year has gone viral online, for talking out her constant battle trying to get Aussies to pronounce her name correctly.

Cliodhna Hughes has a traditional Irish name, pronounced ‘Klee-uh-na’ which she said leaves Aussies stumped.

She says she’s often met with puzzled looks when she introduces herself and people in Australia usually call her ‘Clio’ by mistake.

Hit 104.7’s Wilko & Courts wanted to hear if any Canberrans had a name that was spelt in a unique way.
