Two burglars have been disturbed mid heist in North Mackay. The pair got into the house on Norris Road around three Saturday morning. When they got in they allegedly searched the kitchen stealing a brown handbag containing bankcards and a purse, shoes and a knife. A man has been charged after flooding a City Center Hotel on New years Eve. The 26 year old from South Mackay allegedly activated the fire hydrants of the hotel racking up a half a million dollar damage bill. He is due to face Mackay Magistrates Court on March eleven.
